New Mahindra XUV 700

The Hyundai Alcazar, MG Hector Plus, and the Tata Safari facelift will be the rivals of the Mahindra XUV700 in 2024.

With a starting price of Rs 13.99 lakh (ex-showroom), the Mahindra XUV700 2024 has made its official debut in India. This latest version of Mahindra’s flagship SUV comes with a number of improvements and new amenities.

The XUV700 now comes with a six-seater version with captain seats in the middle row, which is exclusive to the higher-end AX7 and AX7L models. This arrangement puts the XUV700 in line with rivals like the Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus, and Hyundai Alcazar, which also have comparable seating arrangements.

Aesthetically, the XUV700 is now offered in a bold new color called Napoli Black, which is available for all variants. Those who choose the AX7 or AX7L variants will notice that the wheels and grille have been blacked out, which adds to the vehicle’s svelte and covert appearance. These variants can also be had with a dual-tone color option that includes a blacked-out roof, which gives the SUV’s design a more aggressive feel.

The XUV700 has been updated with new features inside the cabin, such as ventilated front seats and an upgraded connected car tech suite with 13 more features, for a total of 83. The top-spec model also gets an outside rear-view mirror (ORVM) memory function, which is especially helpful when the car is being used by multiple drivers.

The 2024 XUV700 retains its two engine options: a 2.0-liter gasoline engine and a 2.2-liter diesel engine, the latter of which is offered in two different states of tune. The 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmissions are the available transmission options, and an All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system is optional for improved driving dynamics.

Mahindra has also unveiled the ‘White Glove Chauffeur Training Programme,’ which will start in Delhi and Ahmedabad and eventually spread to other major cities, offering professional training to drivers on vehicle functions, ADAS systems, handling emergencies, and comprehending faults and error signs.

Below are the new starting ex-showroom costs for the 2024 Mahindra XUV700.

MX: Rs 13.99 lakh
AX3: Rs 16.39 lakh
AX5: Rs 17.69 lakh
AX7: Rs 21.29 lakh

The 2024 Mahindra XUV700 is scheduled to arrive in dealerships on January 25. Those who are keen to own this updated SUV can make reservations starting on January 15. The XUV700 will compete with the likes of the Tata Safari facelift, Hyundai Alcazar, and MG Hector Plus thanks to its competitive pricing and plethora of new features and enhancements.
