In the newly formed Madhya Pradesh Cabinet headed by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, as many as 28 MLAs swore in as ministers. Of them, 18 were appointed as cabinet ministers, six as Ministers of State (Independent Charge), and four as Ministers of State.

The following is a list of the 18 cabinet ministers who were sworn in:

State ministers Narendra Shivaji Patel, Pratima Bagri, and Radha Singh took an oath alongside Sampatiya Uikey, Pradhuman Singh Tomar, Prahlad Singh Patel, Kailash Vijayvargiya, Kuwar Vijay Shah, Rakesh Singh, Karan Singh Verma, Uday Pratap Singh, Vishwas Sarang, and Lakhan Patel.

Rajendra Shukla and Jagdish Devda are the two deputy chief ministers in Yadav’s Madhya Pradesh cabinet. On Monday, the Madhya Pradesh council of ministers’ maximum strength—35, including the chief minister—was probably raised.

In the Madhya Pradesh Assembly election of 2023, the BJP secured 163 out of 230 seats, with the Congress securing 66. Yadav was sworn in as chief minister on December 13 alongside deputy chief ministers Shukla and Devda.

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced ahead of the Madhya Pradesh cabinet enlargement on Monday that the new cabinet will endeavor to improve the state while being led by prominent BJP leaders and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

After meeting Nadda in New Delhi on Sunday night, the chief minister declared, “The new cabinet will work for the betterment of the state under the guidance of Bharatiya Janata Party president J P Nadda, state party chairman VD Sharma, Prime Minister Modi, and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
