Goa DGP Jaspal Singh told India Today that Suchana Seth, the CEO of artificial intelligence start-up The Mindful AI Lab, was accused of killing her four-year-old son in Goa. Seth was arrested on Monday while transporting her son’s body in a bag close to Chitradurga, Karnataka.

The pair got married in 2010, and their kid was born in 2019, but the Goa Police claim the woman killed her son in a hotel room in Candolim, North Goa, because she did not want her ex-husband to meet the child.

But in 2020, the couple fell out, which resulted in the divorce. The father was allowed to see his son on Sundays by the court. The event was discovered when hotel workers noticed that the mother had checked in with her son but had gone without saying anything.

After the woman’s travel agent verified that she was traveling alone, the hotel staff called the local police, who then took her into custody and found the child’s body.
