Frustrated by the reporter’s questioning, the “The Kissing Booth 3” actor got into an argument with her that quickly escalated into a physical brawl in which Mr. Fox was not hurt.

The incident reportedly occurred in the afternoon of February 3rd, according to a statement from New South Wales Police. “Officers linked to Eastern Beaches Police Area Command are investigating after a man was allegedly assaulted outside a hotel in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs,” the statement read.

In the clip, Mr. Fox can be heard approaching Mr. Jacob Elordi holding an empty jar and requesting that he fill it with his bathwater and “send it to the studio” for Jackie “O” Henderson, the show is co-host. This is presumably a reference to a scene that was controversial in the smash hit movie “Saltburn.”

Mr. Fox claimed that after he stopped filming, things went south. “He kind of gets up in my faceā€¦ He is a lot taller than me.He was so close that I could have given him a kiss. I am backed against a wall, he is right in my face and his two boys [friends] are beside me. It was kind of scary. I am feeling quite intimated, and Jacob Elordi demands I delete the footage,” Mr. Jacob Elordi says before asking, “Are you filming?” The reporter confirms, and the actor asks him not to.

“A switch went off and he is become quite aggressive. He goes, ‘Go into your recently deleted. I am thinking, if I delete this footage, there is no evidence this encounter happened. So then I refused to. The actor was informed that the joke “did not land” and that there was “nothing to exploit” by Mr. Fox, who also added, “Jacob flips and slams me against the wall and his hands are on my throat.”

The 26-year-old actor has not yet offered a statement on the subject.

In the meantime, Mr. Jacob Elordi, a native of Brisbane, is a nominee for a Best Supporting Actor Award at the AACTA Awards, which will be held on February 10 at the Home of the Arts on the Gold Coast. The actor’s attendance at the ceremony is uncertain because of the ongoing investigation.

The Australian actor, who was nominated for a Best Supporting Actor Award for his performance in the black comedy Saltburn, is from Brisbane. It is currently unknown if he will attend the AACTA Awards, which are scheduled to take place on February 10 at the Home of the Arts on the Gold Coast.

In 2023, Elordi played Elvis Presley opposite Cailee Spaeny in the biopic Priscilla, which was written and produced by Sofia Coppola and based on the biography Elvis and Me. Most recently, on January 20, Elordi hosted an edition of Saturday Night Live with Renee Rapp.
