At NTR Ghat in Hyderabad, the late actor-politician Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao’s family honored him on the anniversary of his passing.
The family was seen visiting NTR Ghat early on Thursday in honor of the actor, who is still revered in Telugu cinema, according to images and videos that appeared online.

On January 18, the late actor-politician Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao’s son, actor Balakrishna, was seen paying their tributes with his grandkids, Jr. NTR and Kalyanram.
Every year on the anniversaries of NTR’s birth and death, Balakrishna arrives a little later and pays his father’s grave a visit of flowers before he interacts with those present. On Thursday, hundreds of fans could be seen in the photos and videos, hoping to get a peek at the actors, when Jr. NTR and his brother Kalyanram visited NTR Ghat before daybreak.
Throughout his career, NTR acted in hundreds of films and held three terms as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. He made his film debut in 1949 with Mana Desam and went on to win three National Awards for co-production and direction. In the 1950s, his portrayals of the gods Krishna, Shiva, and Rama made him a popular figure, but this did not stop him from trying new things and playing characters with gray shades, which also went down well.
Jr. NTR, who starred alongside Ram Charan and Alia Bhatt in SS Rajamouli’s RRR, is currently filming Devara, directed by Koratala Siva, which will be Janhvi Kapoor’s Telugu debut. He will also make his Hindi debut in the Hrithik Roshan film War 2, though an official announcement has not yet been made. Kalyanram, who last appeared in Abhishek Nama’s Devil: The British Secret Agent, is currently filming an untitled project. He will also appear in the sequel to Bimbisara. Balakrishna is filming NBK 109 with director Bobby.
