On February 29, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh revealed their pregnancy on Instagram. 2018 saw the couple’s marriage.
Bollywood couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are expecting their first child together. She announced her pregnancy in February of 2024. According to reports, Deepika is allegedly in her second trimester. 2018 saw the well-known couple get hitched. September 2024 is when she is due.
Through a shared Instagram post on Thursday, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone revealed their pregnancy. The post said “September 2024” and featured adorable images of balloons, baby shoes, and outfits.
There were rumors going around earlier suggesting Deepika Padukone might be expecting. These rumors originated from reports that she concealed her pregnancy bulge at the 77th British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) by donning a shimmering saree. Wearing a couture saree and handcrafted jewellery designed by Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Deepika Padukone looked gorgeous.

It was on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s “Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela” that Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh first became together. After dating for five years, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone tied the knot in November of 2018.
Deepika grinned and replied, “Yes,” to Vogue when they asked her about being a parent. We both love kids, Ranveer and me. When we eventually create our own family, that is something we look forward to.
She went on, “It never ceases to astonish me how little I have changed, especially when I see my aunts and uncles and my childhood pals. It tells a lot about our formative years. In this business, it is easy to get carried away by fame and fortune. However, I get treated like an outsider at home. I am a daughter and a sister above everything. I hope that stays the same. My family keeps me grounded, and Ranveer and I want to instill the same values in our children.”
In terms of work, Deepika most recently acted in Shah Rukh Khan’s hit movie “Jawan.” “Singham Again,” helmed by Rohit Shetty, is her next project. Among the actors she will be starring alongside on film are Tiger Shroff, Kareena Kapoor, Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, and Ranveer Singh.

After it was reported that Padukone covered up her belly on the British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) red carpet in a dazzling saree, there was a spike in pregnancy rumors.
The couple previously made headlines for their open discussion with producer and director Karan Johar on the program Koffee with Karan 8. In this episode, Deepika Padukone talked about her relationship with Ranveer Singh.
“He had recently ended his relationship, and I was by myself. I had come out of a few challenging relationships, so I wanted to be single for a bit,” she remarked. The couple said that although they were free to see other people when they first started dating, Padukone “would always go back to him.”
Additionally, Deepika stated that before Ranveer proposed to her, there was no real commitment. However, Singh claimed that after just six months of dating Padukone, he realized she was “the one.”

Padukone had also mentioned that she planned to begin a family in January of this year. “I adore kids, and so does Ranveer. We are excited for the day when we can begin a family of our own,” Padukone said to Vogue.
She went on to discuss the morals that she and Ranveer would like to teach their kids. In identical ceremonies held in Lake Como, Italy on November 14 and 15, 2018, the pair exchanged vows.
