BALTIMORE (AP) — After Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Baltimore Ravens to go to the Super Bowl, Taylor Swift gave him a quick kiss and a tight hug. The two then had a kiss that was witnessed by football fans worldwide.
Swift sealed the deal with a kiss and may now be headed to Las Vegas to support her lover when he and the Chiefs compete for consecutive championships. Are you “ready for it”?
Throughout the Chiefs’ 17-10 triumph in the AFC championship game and their ensuing celebration, Taylor Swift remained in the limelight. Swift is perhaps the biggest performer on the planet, and her romance with Kelce has become one of the most talked-about tales this NFL season.
Coach Andy Reid, standing on stage, gestured to Swift in the crowd before she accepted the Lamar Hunt Trophy for the fourth time in five years. Swift pointed back.
Long after many of his teammates had headed to the locker room, she and Kelce strolled arm in arm around the field; Kelce asked where his brother Jason was, and Swift moved aside to give them some alone time.
Travis questioned Jason, the one who stole the show last week in Buffalo by celebrating the Chiefs’ win shirtless in the cold, about his intentions of keeping his shirt on this time. Jason Kelce, another Super Bowl champion and an All-Pro center with the Philadelphia Eagles, who lost to the Chiefs in last year’s Super Bowl,Taylor swift hugged Travis and told him to finish the job again.
It was evident that Taylor Swift was Travis Kelce’s top priority because he never got around to speaking with reporters afterward.
Rashee Rice, a rookie receiver, remarked, “You can see he loves this game. Honestly, I could tell that he cherished this victory more than any victory this season.”
Taylor Swift’s commitment to her “Eras Tour” in Tokyo on February 9 and 10 means she won’t be able to attend the Super Bowl at Allegiant Stadium on February 11 when the Chiefs take on the San Francisco 49ers. Despite the time difference, however, she would be able to attend the game.
About her fans in Kansas City, American Airlines announced that on February 10, the day before the Super Bowl, at 12:30 p.m. local time, it will fly from Kansas City to Las Vegas. The flight is named 1989 in honor of Swift’s birth year and one of her albums. Following the game, on February 12, flight 87, which is also Kelce’s jersey number, will depart from Las Vegas for Kansas City at 12:20 a.m. local time.
Throughout the AFC title game,Taylor Swift was spotted numerous times. She was seen jumping up and down from her suite with Kelce’s family and friends, as well as celebrity friends Cara Delevingne and Keleigh Teller, in the stadium’s corner following Kelce’s 19-yard touchdown reception from Patrick Mahomes halfway through the first quarter.
They had plenty of reason to celebrate when Kelce broke Jerry Rice’s record for most receptions in postseason play with 11 catches for 116 yards.
While promoting its forthcoming Grammy Awards broadcast, CBS cut to Swift. After Kelce made a huge grab in the second quarter, they showed her once more.
Four-time All-Pro tight end and two-time Super Bowl winner Kelce has three touchdown catches this postseason; Swift was present for two of them last week during Kansas City’s divisional round triumph at Buffalo.
With her regular presence at Kelce’s games, Swift has attracted additional attention to the league from her passionate “Swifties” fans, who set attendance records in both the regular season and postseason.
