The Redmi Note 13 5G series, which includes the Redmi Note 13 5G, Note 13 Pro 5G, and Note 13 Pro+ 5G, was introduced in India on Thursday. The company’s most recent models feature 6.67-inch full-HD+ AMOLED screens along with a 16-megapixel selfie camera. The top-tier Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7200-Ultra chipset and has a triple rear camera setup, including a 200-megapixel primary camera. The phones are operating systems, with MIUI 14 based on Android 13, and the company promises three OS upgrades.

The cost of the Redmi Note 13 5G is Rs. 17,999 for the 6GB+128GB RAM and storage combination. It is also available in Arctic White, Prism Gold, and Stealth Black colorways. The 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB models cost Rs. 19,999 and Rs. 21,999, respectively.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G is available in Arctic White, Coral Purple, and Midnight Black color variants. It costs Rs. 25,999 and Rs. 27,999 for 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB configurations, respectively, while a 12GB+256GB model costs Rs. 29,999.

Conversely, the flagship Redmi Note 13 Pro+, which comes in Fusion Black, Fusion Purple, and Fusion White colorways, costs Rs. 31,999 for the 8GB+256GB storage model and Rs. 33,999 and Rs. 35,999 for the 12GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB versions, respectively.

The Redmi Note 13 5G, Note 13 Pro, and Note 13 Pro+ models come with an exchange or bank discount of Rs. 2,000 and Rs. 1,000, respectively, for ICICI Bank card transactions. The phones will go on sale on January 10 through Mi.com, Flipkart, and retail stores.

Running on a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6080 chip with a Mali-G57 GPU paired with up to 12GB of RAM, the handset boasts a 6.67-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz, support for 1,920Hz pulse width modulation (PWM dimming), a peak brightness of 1,000 nits, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. With the MIUI 14 overlay from the firm on top, the dual-SIM (Nano) Redmi Note 13 5G runs Android 13.

The Redmi Note 13 5G features a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front for capturing selfies and video calls, along with a 108-megapixel primary back camera with an f/1.7 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture for taking pictures and videos.

The phone comes with up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage, as well as 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. Both the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and Note 13 Pro+ 5G share some specifications with the standard model; both phones have 6.67-inch AMOLED screens with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection, a slightly higher 1.5K resolution (1,220×2,712 pixels), a curved design, and support for up to 1,800 nits of peak brightness. The Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip powers the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, while the Dimensity 7200-Ultra SoC powers the Note 13 Pro+. Both phones can accommodate up to 12GB of RAM.

Similar to the standard Redmi Note 13 5G model, the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and Note 13 Pro+ 5G feature a 16-megapixel selfie camera in addition to a 200-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.65 aperture and OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera.

Inbuilt storage on the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and Note 13 Pro+ 5G is up to 256GB and 512GB (UFS 3.1), respectively. The company states that the top-of-the-line model supports Wi-Fi 6 routers, while the other models support Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) connectivity. The smartphones also feature NFC support and an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication.

The devices weigh 187g and 205g, respectively, and have dimensions of 161.2×74.3x8mm for the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and 161.4×74.2×8.9mm for the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G. The Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G has a 5,100mAh battery that supports 67W charging, while the Note 13 Pro+ has a 5,000mAh battery that supports 120W charging and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
